任何一门学问都有它的专业术语，魔术也不例外。
“术语”用大白话来说就是“行话”，江湖艺人称为“切口”。这些语言是旧社会同行之间打交道用的一种暗语，是用来保守业务和内部秘密的。在旧社会，倘若你能说出一口流利的江湖术语，就可以被当作“自己人”看待，给予某些方便和优待。
有人认为这些江湖术语和江湖“黑话”一样，属于旧的封建事物，应予以废除。而且现代人不知道这些术语，也可以正常学习、表演。这种看法是错误的。
首先，魔术作为一门学问，和其它学问一样也应该有术语。这些术语是根据专业需要逐渐行成的，而不是随便定下的。其次，术语有它的特殊作用。这些术语是约定俗成的，语言精炼，言简意赅，而且概念明确，毫不含糊。如果用一般语言来描述，不但言语啰唆说不清楚，还容易泄露秘密。
不过，我们必须注意到一点：旧社会的江湖艺人走南闯北卖艺谋生，难免沾染上一些不良习气，以致于魔术术语中掺杂不少江湖黑话。我们现代人应该能够理解旧社会江湖艺人的时代局限性，对魔术术语去粗取精，发扬光大。
首先是介绍一些国内的老一辈魔术家留下来的一些常见的魔术术语：

月 —— 身上夹带水碗特制的布口袋。
别 —— 身上挂道具起插销作用的小工具。
捧 —— 助手“抛衫”，即要求主演交代长袍或者脱掉。
开 —— 演员变鸽、兔等动物时，特制的一种工具，能控制动物老实听话。

花脾：4种不同花色的牌中表示K、Q、J和A的牌。
顶牌：一叠牌的牌面向下，位于员上面的一张或一部分牌。
底牌：一叠牌的牌背向上，位于员下面的一张或一部分牌。
双面牌：两面都是牌面的牌。

切牌：又称腰牌。从一剐牌的顶部拿起一部分牌放到旁边 或放到剽下牌的底牌下面。切牌可在案上或手中进行。
瞥牌：握牌或洗牌时快速地偷看菜一张牌。
闪牌：让观众快速地大略看一看某一张牌的动作。
理牌：事先把牌按表演需要整理一下，这个动作—般不让 观众知道。
扇牌：将一部分牌在手中担成扇形。 标准分牌：左手把牌捏在掌中，拇指按在顶牌上往右前方
推动，每次均将一张顶牌推出．右手配合左手的动作，将左手推 出的牌一张接一张拿出叠放到表演桌上。标准分牌将全副牌酌顺 序完全颠倒了。
单手分稗：只用一只手完成分牌动作。
翻转牌：将分出的牌每一张都翻成牌面朝上 使全副牌原来的顺序不变。
手彩：观众不会觉察的技巧性动作。
措引：用各种巧妙的办法把观众的注意力从值得怀疑的关键动作上转移开。这一点在表演魔术时是十分重要的。
另外，随着国际之间魔术交流的加快，一名魔术师不了解国外的魔术将会在自己的表演事业中受到较大的限制。下面我们要为各位列出部分常用魔术术语的英文对照，希望各位在以后的学习中能够加以熟悉。

单车牌是美国扑克牌公司旗下最著名及最受欢迎的牌子之一。而众多单车牌的设计当中，又以正在骑车的天使设计 Rider Back最为普遍。

单车牌的特性有几个：
1，牌是由三层纸压制而成。3 layers, Air Cushion Finish
2，牌背图案设计典雅。
3，牌背的四周都是白边。
4, 纸牌的弹力和触感非常好, 如果你留意看清楚的时候，你就会发现牌的表面上满布着微小的坑纹,这就是令手感畅顺的秘密。
5，这个牌子的牌背图案设计并不适宜赌博用途。大部份的在印刷的时候，或多或少都会有一些不完全平衡 [Off Center] 的情况,赌场认为这个设计会给于专业的赌徒相当多的数据，因此不采用这个牌子。
Bicycle Rider Back 是最受美国人欢迎的扑克牌设计，加上它优良的纸质，精美的制作，因此也成为纸牌魔术师首选的牌子。
详细原因：
1，由于这个牌子太过普及，所以对美国人而言，Bicycle Playing Cards 是一样极为普通的东西，因此如果魔术师能用这个牌子的纸牌表演出魔术，那么他所表演的就是“真魔术”。
2，Bicycle 的牌背设计有白边，适合很多需要事先反好牌的魔术的需要，例如说是：Triumph, Sandwich,etc....
3，许多道具扑克牌都是配合的图案设计而制作，包括笔者所发行的产品，而配合其它纸牌图案设计的纸牌魔术道具则相对地少，因此，就成为了大部份魔术师的不二之选。
4， 美国魔术界执纸牌魔术的牛耳多年，当美国魔术师在输出他们的魔术的同时，也把这个牌子推销至世界各地的魔术爱好者手中。
5, Bicycle Playing Card 的手感相当不错，要比其它种类的扑克牌容易操控得多，( Better Manipulation)

6. triumph歌曲
胜利用英语有多种表达，根据词性和实际情境，也会有不同的表达方式：
1、victory ['viktəri] 谐音：维克锤。（想象成维克多的锤）n. 胜利；克服；成功常用V形手势表示胜利，也就是这意思。
2、win [win] 谐音：喂！（发音实际是介于“问”和“喂”之间）vt. 赢得；在…中获胜；劝诱vi. 获胜；赢；成功n. 赢；胜利3、success [sək'ses] 谐音：色可赛斯。（好色程度完全比你强~） n. 成功，成就；胜利；大获成功的人或事物4、triumph ['traiəmf, 'trʌmf] 谐音：踹尔腹。（踢你的肚子~）如胜利之歌 the song of triumph；凯旋门 Triumphal Arch（欧洲纪念战争胜利的一种建筑）n. 胜利，凯旋；欢欣vi. 获得胜利，成功……最为常见的多是以上四个词，实际应用中，也还有其他词组或字意来同样也能表示胜利。希望以上能对LZ有所帮助~~
